This seminar is suitable for any parent needing to satisfy the court’s requirement for a three hour divorce education class. It is a Level I introductory class, especially appropriate for parents in high conflict, and those who never married. The emphasis is on beginning to teach parents important communication skills for coparenting their child or children for life.

Parents who attend this class will learn about:
• How children react to separation
• Effects of conflict on children
• Domestic violence and the need for safety
• Parallel parenting
• Special needs of infants and young children
• Appropriate parenting plan schedules for increasing age levels
• How to communicate, even in high conflict
• How to develop a parenting plan

Cost is $75.00 and a Certificate of Attendance is awarded upon completion

Advanced Class
For Higher Conflict Parents
Coparents Attend Together

This ten hour class is an intensive program completed in three sessions. Adapted from an established program in southern California, the program has been proven to create major improvements in the way coparents work together.

Coparent Solutions is often court-ordered on a case by case basis. The emphasis is on communication and skill-building in a small group format. Parents who complete the program demonstrate the ability to:
• Make polite requests and responses
• De-escalate angry interactions
• Take time-out from conflict
• Use reflective listening
• Commit to peaceful coparenting
• Keep children out of the middle
• Acknowedge each other’s strengths
• Interact with manners
• Maintain a business relationship

A Graduation Certificate is awarded if attendance, participation and homework are satisfatory.
A report to the court is available if ordered.
This class is an excellent resource for parenting coordinators.

Cost is $350.00 per person, which covers the entire program.

Parents who have completed Level I and Level II programs may still struggle with coparenting. Experience shows that additional practice and communication skill-building can be critical for making lasting changes in coparent interaction.

BASIC 90-90-90 REFRESHER
A 90-minute session for individual sets of coparents to take place within 90 days of completing Level II, at a cost of $90.

ONGOING REFRESHER
Continue building skills in coparent business meetings facilitated by one of our instructors. Parenting plans can be developed or revised with skills-application to your individual family situation.
